Testimonials

Marlon Bryd-MLB All-Star- “As a professional athlete, I’ve worked with fitness professionals all over the country and Adam has proved to be the most passionate and informed training partner I’ve had.  I’m looking forward to, along with some of my other Chicago Cubs teammates, on going back this off-season to continue our training

Mario Flaherty- Pro Basketball-”As a professional athlete I am forced to make career altering decisions daily.  Some of the decisions I have made have helped my career, others have set me back but, my choice to join TEAM TAF was LIFE CHANGING.  Team Taf has given me the extra boost I need to stand out  both on and off the court.  The training is one of a kind.  On a daily we do things that challenge every muscle in my body and fiber of my being, pushing me to the edge even when I think there is nothing left to give.  Also, the advice given by the trainers and the bonds formed with other attendants has been can be highlighted as something you cannot get at another gym. Together we train and together we succeed.  Make a positive choice for the present and the future and become part of the team, Team Taf!

Daniel M- Mike’s Noon Boot Camp/ Warrior Challenge-Team Taf has an extraordinary training program that in 6 months has helped me lose 20 pounds as well as helped to increase my endurance, strength, and agility.  Overall it has added tremendously to my general health and well being.  As a 48 year old man with limited athletic experience, this fitness program has been perfect for me.  I came to the program 6 months ago and feel I have made great strides thanks to the excellent coaches who provide the structure, training and encouragement that I can not duplicate on my own.  They push me but without being intimidating.  Participants are at varying levels of strength and endurance, but everyone fits in quite nicely.  They really encourage you to compete with yourself so you can make meaningful progress if you are committed to improving your health and physical abilities. It is also a lot of fun to work out with a great group of people and is never boring in that every work-out day is different. Signing up for Team Taf is one of the best decisions I have made in the past 10 years.

Daanish J- High School Football player/AT’s Clinics-I had the opportunity of working with Adam throughout my sophomore year.  His understanding of the science of football, from high school to the pros, is as good as it gets.  He is passionate about what he does and his uncanny attention to detail guarantees athletic improvement whether on the field or in the weight room… Also, the variety of athletes one meets when training with Team Taf creates a broader community and fosters competition…As a sophomore receiver I had the opportunity to practice with a top qb in the bay..

Mike M- All-American Football Player/Combine Training- I have been training with Team Taf since January 2011 in hopes of playing Pro football.  It has done a great job of preparing me for combine testing and getting me in the best possible shape.   It’s a definite a must to check out if your training for any sport whether it be high school, college or pro or just trying to get in shape.

Jessica H-  AFC/Personal Training-I ALWAYS look forward to working out with Team Taf. They have so many options and classes available, that it can fit with any lifestyle. I work full-time, so Alexa’s Fit Crew night class and Weekend Warrior are my go to classes. These workouts are hard, challenging, different and most importantly FUN. Both Alexa and Adam have the skills and expertise to guide me through the exercises, so I can be assured that I am doing them correctly every time. Also, the lively and friendly atmosphere always makes my workouts fly by. Bottom Line: Working out with TEAM TAF is the HIGHLIGHT of my day.

Jessica V- AFC/Personal Training/Warrior Challenge- I’ve done with weekend warrior a number of times, personal training, and am planning on trying Alexa’s fit crew training as well. This workout, although fit for true athletes, caters to beginners as well, especially with the helpful guidance of the trainers on hand. Can’t beat the prices as well ($10 for weekend warrior/$15 for AFC). I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get in or stay in shape. The group and personal work outs also give you great ideas on routines that you can do on your own at the gym.

Kyle S-Mike’s noon Boot Camp/ Warrior Challenge-Since joining this gym I have gained a new perspective to working out. Team TAF has a team of very knowledgeable trainers that lead the classes there and they give you the attention  you would get in a one-on-one personal training session.  I have gained strength, cut weight, increased flexibility and endurance since working out here and simply could not go back to the way I use to work out.  Thanks Team TAF!

Tracy W- AFC/ Warrior Challenge/ Personal Training-I have never worked with a team of professional trainers/athletes that was so genuinely interested in helping me achieve my athletic goals. As an athlete with high standards for my overall goals, TEAM TAF has helped me raise the bar even higher in terms of motivation and physical fitness for myself. What’s even better is anyone can participate.  I was a little nervous about the gym equipment at first because I am not up on the newest and greatest but Team Taf walked me through everything and even helped me with new workouts to go home with!  You guys rock, keep it up :)

Deb B- Mike’s noon Boot Camp/ Warrior Challenge-I’ve been working out w/ the noon boot camp class for almost a year now.  Mike just recently took over the class about a month ago and has done a fabulous job keeping us in line and pushing us to do our best.  No matter what level you start out at you are going to get in better shape – I certainly have!   I’ve also recently tried the Weekend Warrior class twice and it’s fabulous as well.  It’s a longer class than the boot camp and you go at your own pace but have coaches there to assist when needed.  I’ll definitely be adding that to my weekends.

Wendy S- Mike’s noon Boot Camp/ Warrior Challenge-Team Taf is the best!  If you are looking to get in the best shape of your life, then this is the place to go! It’s a fun work out and everyday is different. You will not get bored. I don’t know what I’d do without it.
Coach Mike is the best and a cutie too!

Donna M-Mike’s noon Boot Camp/Warrior Challenge- “As good as it gets” is the single best description you can give to Team Taf! This is by far the most exciting, challenging and interesting work out experience I’ve ever had. Attending the noon boot camp class for the past 18 months, I’m continually motivated to achieve and excel with the thoughtful and varied workouts Adam and Mike put together for us. As someone who bores easily with mundane routine, I am always excited to go to class to find out what we’re going to do that day and to push myself to accomplish it.  I was taken aback at first, seeing the great shape the other participants were in and thinking I couldn’t possibly keep up. Not to worry. Team Taf keeps you focused on your own personal goals and progress, not making it a competition with others. We’re all at different levels; yet we work out together, encourage and support one another to do our own personal best, and best of all have fun! You receive personalized training in small group classes, safely and respectfully. I’m totally hooked!

Thomas K- Mike’s noon Boot Camp/Warrior Challenge- As I often say when comparing the Team Taf to a regular gym – “I don’t need help counting to 12″. There are no cards with fixed workout routines, there are no 500 different and confusing machines to choose from, and no trainer standing beside you helping you count your reps.  What you do get is one heck of a good workout time and time again and it’s never the same old routine.  The trainers are great and they keep you motivated and appropriately challenged. It’s what going to the gym should be all about.
